Evaluation
2.) I really liked this style of latch, using a spring to keep pressure on the basket. The pressure kept it closed. The spoon shape was convinent, and almost eliminated the need for a spoon with this cup of tea. I think its a very effective design.
3.) The interior of the basket could be improved- the pressure rod travels through the center, making loading and cleaning a little difficult. Tea leaves got all wrapped around it.
4.) This infuser was very ergonomic, and its spoon shape was very helpful. It's a classy looking device too.
5.) I think that the tradition tea drinking experience is very calming and spiritual. Tea objects should be smooth and calming with round organic shapes. Geometric shapes seems a little unsettling with tea; they'd work better with coffee.

Tea Infuser Evaluation
It is in the shape of a tea pot, the center is concaved to hold the loose tea. The spout and handle of the tea pot rests on the rim of the mug you drink from.
What parts of the tea infuser function well?
It holds loose tea leaves and rests on my specific cup
What parts of the tea infuser could be improved upon?
If the diameter of my rim was a little larger the tea infuser would fall right in; not a universal tea infuser. In order for the tea leaves to soak in the hot water my cup would have to be filled to the rim, also poor planning.
What about the tea infuser makes the tea experience enjoyable?
The playful soft curves of the tea pot shape are relaxing and soothing.
Think about the overall tea drinking experience. How would you design a tea infuser to enhance that experience?
I would like to make one that could be used for mugs of all shapes and sizes, and one that could be used for someone that wants a lot of tea or very little. I'd also consider making a design thats fun and a miniture replica of a larger object.

Fun Designs for Adults
Emotional Design - Summary
Emotional Design gave me different perspectives of designs for everyday life objects. I enjoyed reading how all the ideas these artists came up with a design for it to bring a positive impact on viewers. For the Japanese lunchbox idea, it is suppose to create “Beauty, fun, and pleasure”. The Google idea is suppose to be “playful” but in a simple way that would be clear-cut to the user. The te ò tea strainer, came out to be “pleasant and cute” and served its purpose. The juicy salif is made to have a basic step of “enticement, relationship, and fulfillment”. Norman wanted to point out that these designs were made to let the user to have fun and enjoy using the objects. Also, to have a design not just for its functions but for the excitement and entertainment.
